MySQL PHP to help create a URL to a url form?

with a database of cities and states it is possible to use the GET method for database connection to have the users submit the required city and state in a form and a URL redirect to the page by the database back? If not then the GET method, as I am lost a help in this way would be any big! PS I want a SEO friendly URL. as www.whatever.com / Atlanta / GA

You could GET method and the use of your mod_rewrite Rewrite SEO URLs a little more friendly. For example, to paraphrase: www.whatever.com/?city=1&state=2 that www.whatever.com / Atlanta / GA Where City 1 is equal to Atlanta, the government and two equal GA
