seo nofollow links
Paying for links?

Ok, so Google is SL you are sitting on the top of their website if you pay for links back to yours. It SEO is the ultimate forbidden fruit. But what about directory listings? Are they not a form of paid links? I have a new site and I think one of the best Ways to get traffic beareth, is listed on as many directories as possible. Most of these directories charge for listing. I have paid Yahoo $ 300, $ 80 and botw.org on my website in the category that most was relavant to my site list. Both Yahoo and botw.org list sites on their lists without a "rel =" nofollow "tag, and I can not count on that day, your link to my site. Did I just search engine suicide?

Search engine suicide? Not at all. Google stance on directories is clear: if there is an element of human contribution, and no guarantee you will be approved, you will not pay for the link, have read but viewed on your site /. If you pay is listed in order in a directory in which the payment is the only requirement, you have just Link bought one, and you risk that the link unusable. Keep your directory submissions those which have to review the payment to your site and there is no Prospect of a listing, and you have nothing to worry about Google's eyes. (At least today ….) Hope That helps.
