Is it bad practice to put "as an iframe site of a giant in a sidebar?

I am currently working on a huge HTML page .. almost 100 pages. The customer will have a sidebar, with special offers, sales, etc. I know for SEO purposes may be updated, it would be best to have the sidebar code on each page, but to be honest, the thought of finding a replacement site to update to the text on a vast, that scares me. Would it terrible if I make the sidebar in an iframe, so I just change once and it would update the world? I'm not, you are not familiar with PHP, but you could and put it in the document at this point. lol @ ron call us ignorant to admit to the filing of an iframe but its a bad idea, perhaps we thought
